The Wunderland Pyramid
Knowing how Andy Looney feels about pyramids,
I wanted to find some way to put a pyramid into one of these creations.
Well, pyramids don't look good in low resolutions, and I wanted to do
something very different than the others. So, I created this pyramid
which reads "The Wunderland Pyramid" around the base. The letters run
over the sides and tops of each step of the pyramid. This took a long
time, since I had to do a lot more than just one face of the cube.
Also, since so many of these cubes were just solved cubes and we've
been messing up the cubes and solving just one face, I had to solve
nearly all of them. Because it took a long time to put together, Andy
and Kristin found themselves actually using their window as, gasp,
a window, instead of a place to put their cubes. They then realized why
they put the cubes in the window in the first place, that they liked to
keep the world, or at least their street, shut out. As a result, and
the fact that it is not very easy to write legibly on the side of a
Rubik's cube pyramid, they weren't as thrilled about this creation as
some of the others. I believe the exact words were "quick, take a
picture so Jacob can put the cubes back in the window."
